While Waiting for Thee

Don't weep at my grave,

For I am not there,

I've a date with a butterfly

To dance in the air.

I'll be singing in the sunshine,

Wild and free,

Playing tag with the wind,

While I'm waiting for thee.

The Comfort and Sweetness of Peace

After the clouds, the sunshine,

after the winter, the spring,

after the shower, the rainbow,

for life is a changeable thing.

After the night, the morning,

bidding all darkness cease,

after life's cares and sorrows,

the comfort and sweetness of peace.

Sweet Memories Of You

I shall think of you when the stars twinkle

and the rain softly showers

when the trees blossom and bluebirds sing.

Thoughts of you shall not bring sorrow

sometimes reason is not ours to borrow

you could have been spared certain things.

Oh what Joy shall be Ours

when we see each-other once more

beyond those distant Shores.

Oh what tranquil Peace this brings

cares of earth my soul shall fling

when I think of this, my heart sings.

I LOVE YOU

God of the Open Air

These are the things I prize

And hold of dearest worth:

Light of the sapphire skies,

Peace of the silent hills,

Shelter of forests, comfort of the grass,

Music of birds, murmur of little rills,

Shadow of clouds that swiftly pass,

And, after showers,

The smell of flowers

And of the good brown earth,--

And best of all, along the way, friendship and mirth.

So let me keep

These treasures of the humble heart

In true possession, owning them by love;

And when at last I can no longer move

Among them freely, but must part

From the green fields and from the waters clear,

Let me not creep

Into some darkened room and hide

From all that makes the world so bright and dear;

But throw the windows wide

To welcome in the light;

And while I clasp a well-beloved hand,

Let me once more have sight

Of the deep sky and the far-smiling land,--

Then gently fall on sleep,

And breathe my body back to Nature's care,

My spirit out to thee, God of the open air.

My Sister Wait For Me

I took your picture from the wall

just so I can see ..

How beautiful my Sister is

and hold her close to me.

To soon, so young, to have to die

why did She have to go ..

So much to give, so full of life

I guess I’ll never know.

I know, I can’t have you back

but, my Sister can you wait ..

For me, when my earth time ends

by the stairs, at Heaven’s Gate.

A Beautiful Day In Heaven

Death is but a passing

from darkness into light.

I awakened from my sleep

and beheld a glorious sight.

It’s a beautiful day in Heaven.

Love is everywhere.

Peace and comfort surround me.

No place on earth can compare.

I could never begin to describe

the wondrous things I see.

If you could glimpse at heaven,

you’d shed no tears for me.

Keep my memory in your heart.

Time will pass and then,

one beautiful day in heaven,

we’ll be together again.

God Called Your Name

So Softly

God called your name so softly

That only you could hear

And no-one heard the footsteps

Of angels drawing near.

It broke our hearts to lose you

But you did not go alone

For part of us went with you

The day God called you home.

You're Happy In Heaven

You're frolicking in the meadows

you're out of the storms of life

You're in Heaven's Land of sweet delights

everything's precious, colorful and bright.

There is no stress and there's no alarms

everything has grace and charm

Heaven's Land of Milk and Honey

every's free, no need for money.

The weather there is always sunny

birds rest on your shoulders and butterflies on bunnies.

No fears or sadness there

children's laughter fills the air.

And quiet places near streams and ponds

of all those things your heart is fond.

I'm so happy for you Loved One of mine

everything is now Divine.

Do Not Stand By And Weep

Do not stand at my grave and weep,

I am not there, I do not sleep.

I am in a thousand winds that blow,

I am the softly falling snow.

I am the gentle showers of rain,

I am the fields of ripening grain.

I am in the morning hush,

I am in the graceful rush

Of beautiful birds in circling flight,

I am the starshine of the night.

I am in the flowers that bloom,

I am in a quiet room.

I am in the birds that sing,

I am in each lovely thing.

Do not stand at my grave and cry,

I am not there. I did not die.

Because His or Her spirit lives forever in Heaven

so we can enjoy nice memories of them

in each of these things.

Finding You in Beauty

The rays of light filtered through

The sentinels of trees this morning.

I sat in the garden and contemplated.

The serenity and beauty

Of my feelings and surroundings

Completely captivated me.

I thought of you.

I discovered you tucked away

In the shadows of the trees.

Then, rediscovered you

In the smiles of the flowers

As the sun penetrated their petals

In the rhythm of the leaves

Falling in the garden

In the freedom of the birds

As they fly searching as you do.

I’m very happy to have found you,

Now you will never leave me

For I will always find you in the beauty of life.

Heaven’s Light

The sun shines down upon us

with rays of warmth and light.

Then when the day has ended,

disappears beyond our sight.

We then are left in darkness,

not because the sun has died,

but because it’s shining brightly

on the world’s other side.

So it is when one we love

comes to their end of days.

They go on to the other side

to shine their loving rays.

That’s why Heaven is a place

That glows beyond compare.

The lights of those who’ve left us

are all brightly shining there.
